Perfect place to stay adjacent to the naval museum as well as railway station, and Portsmouth town centre. Marvellous and incredible location, helpful staff and very quick response time.

I stayed at Catherine House for a few days while exploring the area. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the train station, buses, and some great pubs. It was also convenient to reach the naval museum and the ferry to Wight. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming, even the other guests were friendly. The rooms were basic, but very comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a great view over Portsmouth from the 11th floor. The hotel was clean and had good wifi.

Would recommend this hotel.

Everything here felt really good, it was a perfect 10/10 stay for one night. It had magnificent views of the park and sea.

The staff was cooperative and informative to chat with. There were central heating, an electronic key card and a study table available. There was a nicely designed and compact bathroom. I enjoyed its very central location. Moreover, different shops and several stores were next door. Everything was very good for me, recommend.

I had a great stay in Portsmouth during Christmas thanks to this accommodation. The location was very convenient, with close proximity to the train station and bus stops. It was also within easy walking distance to popular tourist attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the kitchen with a view of the sea was a real treat, allowing me to cook and enjoy my meals while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

There were a few downsides to my stay. It would have been nice to have mugs, a kettle, and utensils for cooking.

We had a very pleasant stay in Portsmouth really close to railway station and a pretty park, university, historic dockyard, and Gunwharf Quays in walking distance and buses. We loved the venue and its excellent and perfect setting. The staff was really helpful and attentive, providing info to us.
